Part 3 – Shaping the Course! (Plaster, Patience & Progress) 🚧🚙
Welcome to Part 3 of building my indoor mini RC crawler course — where things start getting messy… in a good way!
This episode is all about shaping and strengthening the course. I applied plaster bandage not once, but twice, to make everything solid and crawler-proof. Turns out, building a realistic terrain takes a bit of patience (and maybe a few plaster-covered fingers 😄).
I also worked on covering the sides of the course so it looks cleaner, more finished, and way more like a real off-road environment. The track is slowly transforming from “DIY project” into a legit mini crawler playground.
It’s not the fastest part of the build, but it’s super satisfying to see the course take shape. Every layer brings more realism and sets the stage for some awesome future driving.
