Friendships are contributors to destinies. Every real friendship can only be done by the Spirit. Graces and places. When God puts friends together the goal is for them to fulfill destiny.
Proverb 17:17. Proverbs 27:9. Matthew 7:3. Your friendship helps you see. John 15:13-15. When it comes to friendship you are stewards of everything God gives you.

Traits of Good friendship
Consistency in character
Authenticity
Honesty
Trust
Chemistry
Reliable

Signs of resentment:
Withdrawing emotionally or withholding affection
Subtly critical or passive aggression
Replaying past grievances
Tensed or irritated when relating with you

How to deal with it
Self evaluation
Identify expectations
Forgive
Practice empathy

It takes one to forgive but it takes two to reconcile. Ecclesiastes 1:1
