Описание: In the second weekend of every December, the City of Lyon, France put on the Festival of Lights (Fete de Lumiere). Not Christmas Lights mind you, but an avant-garde light shows using the latest in computer technology and artistic know-how. The results are fantastic We feel a bit unfortunate because there were so many venues we didn't get to see them all. And the crowds are overwhelming. A victim of its own success. Book a room 6 months in advance or else you'll be staying at a flee-bag hotel or 20 miles outside of the city, AND the streets are human traffic only. Some streets even are log jammed with crowds to the point of no movement at all. But still a great time.
