High School Pole Vaulting - Zach Bateman

UPDATE: I am not currently pole vaulting in college. I could have pursued vaulting at a number of schools, but I chose to focus on getting a strong education at Texas A&M University. Though I would have loved to continue vaulting at the collegiate level, it didn't work out. And... though it may surprise you, I'm okay with that! I have no doubt that God has plans for my life that are bigger than any I would imagine at first, and it has been amazing to see how what might at first seem like disappointments can be turned into even bigger opportunities. I still love to vault when I get a chance, and I would certainly like to at least do some coaching in the future. The bottom line is this: find something you love and do it, but don't forget there are other paths that may come your way. Adapt to your opportunities, embrace your abilities, and live life to the fullest!
