Yes Karur! A restobar! 🍻
You heard it right — there’s a restobar on the Coimbatore highway! This spot used to be Woodlands Restaurant (yep, I’ve reviewed that too), and now the same owner has given it a total glow-up — new vibe, new name — Relax Restobar!

Food-wise, it’s got all the regulars, but their Elanir Chicken and Pineapple Chicken are the stars here. Since I’d already had those during the Woodlands era, this time we went adventurous — Chicken Biryani, Non-Veg Meals, Nallapatti Chicken, and Volcano Chicken! 🌋

Biryani rice? Superb! Full of flavor. The chicken piece though… let’s just say it spent a little too much time in the sauna 😅.But wait — surprise bonus! It came with Eral Gravy (mutton liver) on the side, and oh boy, that gravy was rich, tasty, and stole the show. Total underdog moment! 😋
Nallapatti Chicken was spicy, tasty, and made us go “Machan, super da!” 🤤
Volcano Chicken had that sweet-n-spicy Chinese twist — soft and tasty!

Non-veg meals came loaded with chicken kulambu, fish kulambu, boiled egg, omelette, rasam, curd — everything decent and filling. Not over the top, but no complaints either!

And for those who like a little kick with their meal, liquor is served at your table if you come with family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, but bachelors get their own separate zone 🍺.

Overall — a cool hangout in Karur if you want good food, good vibes, and a little booze to go with it! 😎
