Dynasty Warriors 9 has been revealed by Koei Tecmo. The series has always been a hack-and-slash, almost guilty pleasure sort of game where players just grind through waves of enemies during the end of China's Han Dynasty, historically known as the Three Kingdoms period.
The series has obviously had a number of titles, many of which simply added more characters, more moves, and slight gameplay additions, but nothing that changed the overall gameplay. Koei Tecmo has announced some big changes with Dynasty Warriors 9 however. The new installment will be open world.
