Aluminum expands and contracts with temperature changes, allowing it to move around more than copper, which makes it a fire hazard. In fact, back then aluminum wired homes have a 55% higher chance of catching fire than a copper wired home!

This sounds BAD but it is really that bad? Nope! You just need to take the right steps to mitigate it if you end up buying a home with it...
