Correction:
01:13 I made this video back when I was blindly trusting wikis (something I don't do anymore), and the more I've looked into it, the less certain I am that Nintendo R&D1 worked on ANY of Nintendo's arcade games prior to Donkey Kong. A lot of places said that Nintendo R&D1 made Computer Othello, but I'm not so sure anymore that was actually the case. According to Satoru Okada, Game & Watch: Ball was the first time R&D1 made a video game at all, and on page 28 of David Sheff's book "Game Over", he states that "Yamauchi's Team" were the ones responsible for Nintendo's early arcade titles while Nintendo's R&D teams were working on other things. While it's still possible R&D1 might have contributed to Computer Othellos in some form, the only games so far in the challenge that I can confidently say R&D1 worked on are the Game & Watch games and Donkey Kong.
