Please excuse the sound quality this interview is with an inmate in Colombian Prison. We tried doing video call and phone call but the signal was so bad we had to do WhatsApp voice notes in the end and obviously it's extremely noisy inside Combita High Security Prison.

This interview is with Boris, a Colombian inmate who grew up in London before being deported back there. He grew up in Ladbroke Grove, London after moving here at 3 years old with his mum. After numerous young offenders sentences he eventually got a 9 year EPP sentence with a deportation order. After completing 39 months of the 9 years he was sent back to Colombia with just £80! He quickly fell into the gangs to survive there and had to participate in serious violent crimes. Eventually he was caught up in assassination on his boss where he was also shot, he managed to kill the assassin but was arrested at the hospital. He was then also charged with another kidnap and murder eventually receiving a 37 year sentence for both crimes. He is now in one of the world's worst prisons where there are no guards and completely controlled by inmates.
