MAF has operated in Tanzania in various capacities since the 1950s, with a programme opening in 1977. Much of our flying in Tanzania centres around medical and evangelistic 'safaris' where medical and missionary teams are taken out to remote villages for several days at a time - providing vital services and spiritual input to those who can't access services for themselves.
