The Central Bureau of Investigation's (CBI) Anti-Corruption Branch team arrested a recovery agent associated with the Bank of Baroda and a BSP leader in Hardoi district on Tuesday, on charges of taking a bribe in the name of sanctioning a loan under the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana (Chief Minister's Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme).The accused agent was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of ₹45,000 from the complainant.The CBI took this action based on a complaint from Seema Devi.The bank manager is accused of demanding ₹45,000 as bribe to sanction a ₹5 lakh loan and grant permission to withdraw the money. This bribe was demanded through the branch manager via the recovery agent Suresh Chaudhary.
