We specialize in arranging adventure tours exploring ancient pagodas in Bagan after providing tourists with a “once in a lifetime” experience riding a Hot Air Balloon across Bagan Archaeological Area for sunrise, where more than 2,000 Buddhist monuments tower over green plains. Visit holy sites around Old Bagan include ornate Ananda Temple, built in 1091 and topped with a golden stupa. Nearby is the vast 12th-century Dhammayangyi Temple. (TOUR ITINERARY):
BAGAN PAGODAS & HOT AIR BALLOON ADVENTURE DAY TOUR

At 5:00AM, you will be picked up at your hotel in Bagan by Balloons over Bagan truck or other similar hot air balloon private transportation. Transfer to balloon site to witness the hot air balloon team preparation to raise up your balloon at launching site. Ride Hot-Air Balloon pilot by captain from Balloons Over Bagan team or team from other similar hot air balloon companies in Bagan. Flying around Old Bagan across Bagan Archaeological Area for sunrise, where more than 2,000 Buddhist monuments tower over green plains. After flying about 45 minutes, Balloon lands and you will be transferred back to your hotel at 9:00AM. Have breakfast in hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to Bagan Archaeological Zone and explore the following:
i) Shwezigon Paya - Get acquainted with the 37 Nats;
ii) Kyanzittha Umin – a very different temple
iii) Wetk vi-in-Gubyaukgyi - amazing murals
iv) Gubyauknge
v) Upali Thein – The best frescoes in all Bagan;
vi) Htilominlo Pahto – late Bagan style temple;
vii) Bulethi- excellent views of Bagan
Then proceed to Tharabar Gate and head south. Explore the following (if time allows):
i) Ananda Pahto - four giant buddha statutes carved with teak
ii) Ananda Ok Kyaung – one of the best temples in Bagan
iii) Bagan Golden Palace (Open: 9am-4:30pm)
iv) Shwegugyi – Highly recommended visit
v) Thatbyinnyu Pahto – The most beautiful temple in Bagan
After exploration, transfer back to hotel at 6:00PM
End of tour.
