Mayor Muriel Bowser joins Virginia Ali and family to commemorate Ben’s Chili Bowl's 60th anniversary and unveil the “Ben’s Chili Bowl Way” street sign on the 1200 block of U Street., NW.
Ben’s Chili bowl is both a popular and historic restaurant. Additionally, the Ben’s Chili Bowl Foundation provides service to the community and the neighborhoods of DC by engaging in community projects at various locations.
In July, the DC Council passed an emergency resolution to rename the block that houses the restaurant as “Ben’s Chili Bowl Way” in honor of its 60th anniversary.
