Many believe the SEC protects investors, but in reality, it often protects insiders who benefit from such moves. This makes rallies risky, as they can be engineered, and safer bets like gold and silver have offered better returns during uncertain times. Bert Dohmen sits down with Jeremy Szafron in an interview to point out that in the first phase of a market crash, investors facing margin calls sell whatever they can, including gold and silver, causing their prices to drop temporarily. But once that urgent selling is over, gold and silver rebound strongly as people seek safety while central banks print more money, eroding its value. That’s when these metals shine as the only true protection of wealth, as they have for thousands of years.
At the same time, India’s warming ties with China and Russia at the SCO Summit mark a shift toward a multipolar world, as the three nations—representing over a third of the global population—find common ground against Western dominance. Analysts warn that U.S. tariffs, especially on India, may be backfiring by driving these countries closer together. If they retaliate with tariffs or reduced trade, U.S. supply chains and retail sectors could face major disruptions, underscoring America’s vulnerability in this shifting global balance.
