Edithvale Wetlands has many birds, these birds I have taken videos are from around the outer bird hide and the 2 story bird hide within the wetlands, a marvellous place to photograph and enjoy the wildlife.

This short video displays the Australian Pied Cormorant - Haematopus longirostris, Freckled Duck - Stictonetta naevosa, Grey Teal - Anas gracilis, Hoary-headed grebe - Poliocephalus poliocephalus, Little Pied Cormorant – Microcarbo melanoleucos and the Royal Spoonbill - Platalea regia.

The Edithvale wetlands bird hide is open between the hours of 1pm – 5pm Saturday & Sunday entry is free, just sign in a book to record your visit and maybe a gold coin donation, the only provision is that there needs to be water, as this wetland is ephemeral at times there is no water and without water the bird life is very scarce, then the bird hide will be closed.

I feel very fortunate to have such a variety of habitats to view the many birds that live here, I will add more videos over time, hope you enjoy my work as I enjoy putting them together.
