60 MINUTES PURE AVIATION - CLASSIC PLANES only - Douglas DC-8, L1011, IL62, TU154, Boeing 747 (4K)

Описание: I finally filmed a Douglas Dc-8! Took me almost 10 years to get one of these beautiful classic jetliners in front of my camera. The Douglas Dc-8-72 of Samaritans Purse can be seen departing from Stuttgart Airport back home to the United States. I drove almost through entire Germany to finally film my first classic Dc-8, which is one of my favorite airplanes. The day before the Dc-8 got diverted to Stuttgart Airport because it didn` have enaugh fuel anymore to fly to the United Kingdom. If I remember correctly the aircraft wasn` t able to refuel in the near east and had to fly back to Europe with what was left in the fuel tank, after already flying nonstop from the USA to the Neat east. What an awesome opportunity to film a Dc-8 in 2021. There are just around seven active Dc-8` s worldwide.

I also included lots other classic planes I have filmed within the past 10 years. Sometimes the footage is a bit shaky, that` s mainly because the footage is a bit older. Back in 2012-2015 my camera skills weren` t that good and it took me a while to get a better videographer. Still a nice memory. Especially the Vickers VC-10 which departed at Brize Norton with its amazing sound is a nice addition to this classic planes compilation. It was the only time I filmed a VC-10.

Of course I also added some of my favorite russian classic planes, including the Tupolev TU-154 and the Ilyushin Il62 of Rada Airways.
