A Homeowner Association (HOA) is intended to make and enforce rules for a neighborhood or community in order to keep the area in their jurisdiction safe, clean, and maintained. Along with HOAs come HOA fees, where the prices tend to vary depending on the area.

However, despite how useful some HOAs can be, others can be an absolute nightmare to work with, and some don't care about their residents or members at all. There are many pros & cons to buying a home under an HOA and investing in an HOA, and I'm going to tell you why you SHOULD avoid HOAs, or why you SHOULDN'T avoid them. Thanks for watching!
