A small snippet on how I inlaid this kumiko panel into the apron of a bathroom vanity I recently finished. This panel itself took me an inappropriate amount of time to make. I contemplated a ton of different ways to install it, including making a ton of tiny mortises to perfectly set the panel in with no lateral room for error. Instead, I opted for a rabbet as the vanity itself is in a nook and there's no access to the back. It worked!
