Описание: The 1911's thumb safety blocks the sear, but not the hammer. In the event of a sear or sear pin failure, the hammer can fall and simply bump the safety out of the way, firing the pistol. This video illustrates the issue and how the FallArrest™ hammer and safety work together to prevent this. The safety and hammer feature a carefully designed interlocking feature that will positively stop the fall of the hammer, preventing firing.
