Soaring with SPKY - Editor Response

Hey guys it's SPKY, Hope you enjoyed my 2023/2024 SoaRRC response. This edit was a huge ambition at the start of December when the SoaRRC was announced. I knew I wanted to make an entire Teamtage-like response to showcase what an edit from myself if I were in SoaR would look like. I had so much fun putting this together with yes ALOT OF HALFTONE. You guys know me I just LOVE that cartoony look I couldn't resist xD

I originally aimed to animate a 30-40 second-long character animation of me talking, basically, the two sections where I'm talking and where atm my Twitter avi is were supposed to me much more. As a 3d character animator and I'm sure anyone reading this also knows, character animation takes ALOT of time to polish, I spent most of the past month working on the edit alone to try to make it the best I could which left me with barely anytime to work on the animation, I only got to a strong blocking of the scene in the end and that's why i then decided to scrap it, I will finishing spline and polish of the shot at some point this year and post it on my Twitter!

Special thanks to COGF for helping me out with gathering the clips initially and further thanks for Shawn for giving me the idea to do a more unique personal editing response rather than just an edit, Then finally editors like Stolen, Dwell, COGF, and many more who gave me feedback and constructive criticism throughout. Appreciate the support lads.

Lastly, I cannot thank the editors and players; Dwell, Swifts, Rico, Cookies, and Tasty for dummying for me in the cinematics, I could not have finished this if it were not for their help.
