Today, we are experiencing one of the most colorful, spiritual, and joyful celebrations in New York City — the New York Ratha Yatra Parade 2026, also known as the Hare Krishna Festival.

On Saturday, June 13th, 2026, thousands of devotees, visitors, families, and tourists gathered in the heart of Manhattan to celebrate this ancient festival of love, peace, and devotion.

The parade began at 11:00 AM on Fifth Avenue at East 41st Street and traveled through the busy streets of New York City all the way to Washington Square Park.

The highlight of the festival was the magnificent Ratha Yatra chariots carrying Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Subhadra Devi. Decorated with colorful fabrics, flowers, and sacred symbols, the giant chariots created a breathtaking sight against the backdrop of Manhattan’s skyscrapers.

As the procession moved through Fifth Avenue, the streets came alive with the sounds of traditional Indian drums, cymbals, joyful chanting, and uplifting music.
