I spent almost a year remodeling my mom's 1986 mobile home. I didn't do it alone, but we only hired out one thing, the carpet. We did everything. Completely gutted all interior walls that faced the exterior. They had bugs and lizards in them because the exterior sheathing on the trailer was not sealed. We spray foamed and sealed everything possible. Put in an entire new kitchen to include some rewiring for dedicated circuits for the appliances. New walls, new floors, new paint, new everything. It was like having a second job. I spent the majority of my free time there. It totally was a group effort and Mom worked her butt off for sure. It all turned out amazing.
