This Saturday’s project: replacing the center carrier bearing on the S52-swapped E30. The old one was installed wrong (flipped the wrong way), which caused some ugly vibration. We’re tackling that today—and smoking a steak while we’re at it.
Marked everything before pulling, but lost the paint during removal—had to line it back up using video footage. Might be a notch off, but we’ll find out. Also realized I had the wrong version (late model vs early), so I’ve got a new one on the way before track day. Stay tuned for part two.
