Buy it for dog pee
Worked for dog pee. I could smell it but I couldn't see it. I was a little hesitant based on some of the reviews saying it didn't work on dog pee. I'm here to say, yes it does! I will share what I did to get the best results. Also, thanks to the amazing camera on my Samsung and a bit of light correction you can really see it stand out. I did this on purpose because with a phone camera alone the uv light washes out the pictures and they don't do it justice. I didn't see anyone post a picture of dog pee yet, so here you go.
1. It has to be dark. As pitch dark as you can get it. Do it at night if you can.
2. Vacuum the carpet well first then rake it lightly to get the fibers going in the same direction.
3. Save the batteries that come with it for a remote or something. At this price point you can't expect much from the battery. First use should be with a strong name brand AAA battery. Wipe the lens clean with a soft cloth and viola! Pee!
