PLANTS VS. ZOMBIES: GARDEN WARFARE

Shooters just got weird! Plants defend key positions from a zombie onslaught in this team-based third-person shooter from the beloved tower-defense franchise. Players can choose from one of 8 classes, 4 for each faction, and play in either cooperative or competitive multiplayer. The Peashooter and the Foot Soldier act as general ground characters; the Sunflower, Scientist, and Engineer act as support characters; the Chomper and the All-Star are characters that engage in close-up combat, and the Cacti are snipers. The classes also have special abilities and multiple varients for different gameplay. In order to unlock these variants and more, players must complete unique challenges to each class, which levels up the characters. Other in-game items are purchased from sticker packs, which are bought with coins earned from completing objectives in game (or buying coins with microtransactions). Different multiplayer modes are available: Team Deathmatch, Suburbination, Gnome Bomb, Taco Bandits, and Gardens and Graveyards. The last mode is a fan-favorite, in which players either capture (as the Zombies) or defend (as the Plants) various objectives in an expanding map, with a unique objective as the final point.
