MATCHBOX Makeover K12 Scammell Crane Truck

Описание: This is a grand-scale project for a grand-scale transformation! What a journey this restoration turned out to be. Over three days of dedicated work (and a fair share of mishaps), this makeover pushed me to my limits and left me questioning, at times, why I ever started it.

It's hard to fathom how Matchbox produced these intricate models by the thousands. With so many parts to assemble in the precise order—and countless opportunities to make a misstep—it was a true test of patience and persistence.

Midway through, I nearly gave up, especially after making the tough call to strip the paint off while halfway through assembly, leaving me unable to disassemble it again. Despite the frustrations and late nights (including one 3 a.m. session to recover lost progress), I pressed on.

The final result? A striking model that commands attention in the display case. It may look flawless now, but let me assure you—it carries the story of a challenging but rewarding build!
