We started our journey early in the morning at **6:00 AM from Delhi**, all set for the beautiful drive to the Queen of Hills – **Shimla**. The highway was smooth, but we witnessed a major reality check on the road: an unfortunate **car accident near Karnal**, reminding us to always drive safe.

Moving ahead, as we crossed **Kurukshetra**, the weather blessed us with a beautiful **rainfall**! Driving through the rains added a magical touch to our road trip experience, making the journey even more memorable. If you love monsoon drives, you’ll absolutely enjoy this part of the vlog!

Our *first major stop* was at **Kalka around 10:00 AM**, where we took a much-needed break for some refreshments and to stretch our legs before entering the hilly region. Kalka, the gateway to Himachal Pradesh, felt refreshing with its cool breeze and scenic vibes.

Soon after Kalka, we officially **entered Himachal Pradesh**, and the landscapes changed dramatically! Lush green valleys, winding roads, and fresh mountain air welcomed us. We made a short but beautiful halt at **Solan City**, soaking in the views and capturing some lovely moments. Solan’s charm and the peaceful vibe are something you must experience when traveling to Shimla.

Continuing our journey, we crossed the picturesque **Kandaghat**, a hidden gem surrounded by dense forests and rolling hills. The drive through this stretch was smooth, scenic, and a perfect teaser of what was coming ahead.

As we approached Shimla city, we encountered the not-so-fun part of the trip – a **1+ hour-long traffic jam inside Shimla**! It’s pretty common, especially during tourist seasons. The narrow roads and heavy inflow of tourists slowed us down significantly. But hey, every road trip has its share of challenges, right?

Finally, after a long but rewarding drive, we reached our hotel located in **Dhalli, Shimla**, around **3:30 PM**. Tired but super excited to explore more in the coming days!
