Ingredients:

Pressure cook:
Toor dhal - 3/4 cup
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Hing - 1/4 tsp

Fresh sambar masala:
Gingelly oil - 2 tsp
Coriander seeds - 1&1/2 tablespoon
Toordhal - 1 tbsp
Chana dhal - 1 tbsp
Urad dhal - 3/4 tbsp
Fenugreek - 1/4 tsp
Peppercorns - 1/4 tsp
Cumin - 1 teaspoon
Red chilli - 3 nos
Shallots - 7 -8 nos
Tomato - 1 medium
Coconut - 1/4 cup

Sambar:
Gingelly oil - 2 tsp
Shallots - 10 nos
Tomato - 1 medium
Beans - 1/4 cup
Carrot - 1/4 cup
Potato - 1/4 cup
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Salt - 1& 1/4 tsp
tamarind - 10 gms soaked
Jaggery - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves

Tempering(Tadka):
Oil - 2 tsp
Mustard - 1/4 tsp
Jeera - 1/4 tsp
red chilli - 2
Curry leaves
