Subject: Final and last Phase for Online Registration of Class IX (2025) with late fine
In continuation with our previous notification: EMU/C/34 dated 23.04.2025 and DS(C)/105/25
Date 01.09.2025 regarding the online Registration of Class IX (2025), which concluded on
30.08.2025 (First Phase) and subsequently in Second Phase ended on 13.09.2025. It may be noted
that 9,335 schools have participated in the online Registration process for Class IX (2025).
However, in the students’ interest, especially for those valid candidates who have missed to
register themselves through their respective schools, the Board has decided to offer a special opening, through the Online Registration portal of WBBSE, to duly complete their registration process.
The portal https://registration.wbbsedata.com will be accessible for from 11:00 AM on 25th February, 2026 to 4:00 PM 7th March, 2026. This extended window is specifically for students who
missed the initial deadline.
Please note that a late fee as admissible will be applicable for all such cases during this period.
No cases of Registration of Class IX (2025) will be admissible after completion of this period.
Schools are directed to complete the Registration process for all/any remaining such students
within the specified time frame to avoid further hardship for such students. Accountability and
liability of any non-registration of any valid candidate (i.e. candidate certified to have progressed to
higher class successfully with adequate attendance, has taken admission in Class X, received text
book from school, and paid the fees to the school) after the given special dateline above, shall remain with the school authority for any/all cases subsequently (i.e. after 4:00 PM 7th March, 2026) reported to the Board.
