Xur is available every weekend from Friday 09:00 GMT/UTC till Sunday 09:00 GMT/UTC.

Xur sells exotic armor pieces, one for each class (Titan, Hunter, Warlock) every week. He also sells a random exotic weapon and two exotic weapon bundles with ornament. To buy exotic armor and weapon from Xur you will need Strange Coins. To buy exotic weapon bundles you will need Strange Coins and Silver Dust.

You can also buy several other useful items from Xur for Strange Coins like Heavy Ammo Synthesis, Three of Coins, Glass Needles, Exotic Shard and Mote of Light.

Xur is in average form this week. Buying recommendation: 3/6.

Titan: The Taikonaut exotic helmet - All rocket launchers gain tracking, radar remains visible while zooming with Heavy Weapons and heavy ammo drops more often. This is an exotic that sounds much better than it is, nevertheless if you like to use rocket launchers a lot buy it and see whether it works for you.

Hunter: ATS/8 Tarantella exotic chest armor - Reduced Arc damage from minions of the Darkness. Arc grenades and Arc Blade recharge faster. This is a very good exotic for the Bladedancer subclass Hunter, definitely BUY it.

Warlock: Apothesis Veil exotic helmet - Immediate health, melee, grenade regeneration on activating your super. This is a beautiful piece of armor and in principle a good one, however there are much better exotics for a Warlock. Buy it only to complete your collection.

Weapon: Universal Remote exotic shotgun - Range and precision damage increases greatly while aiming down the sights. This is not a good weapon at all, especially taking into account that it is an exotic. There are much better shotguns than this one. Buy it only to complete your collection.

Weapon Bundle: Bad Juju and Dragonsbane exotic pulse rifle. After each kill, this weapon will reload instantly and increase damage for a short time. Kills will help charge your super. Bad Juju is very good and useful exotic, definitely BUY it.

Weapon Bundle: Truth and Prototype exotic rocket launcher. Rounds fired from this weapon seek their targets aggressively. Truth is a good rocket launcher in principle, however in practice it turns out to be not good at all, buy it only to complete your collection.
