INTERESTING FACT: The female commentator in these segments is Kathrine Switzer, the first woman to run the Boston Marathon at a time when it was strictly "male only". Registering as K. V. Switzer, she flew under the radar and made it onto the course where a race official tried to forceably remove her during the run. Her boyfriend, running alongside, used a shove to send him flying, a dramatic moment in sports that was publicized worldwide.
