The elegant Peak Hotel stood above the harbor as a symbol of a new era when old traditions met modern technology.
But great ideas and bold visions do not always lead to lasting success.
This short film explores a fascinating moment in Hong Kong’s history when the old world and the age of flight briefly met on the Peak. The Peak Hotel itself would later be destroyed by fire in 1938 and was never rebuilt.
