GENERAL MUSA KHAN HAZARA | جنرال موسی خان هزاره

در ماه اپریل 1964، جنگ خونین میان هند و پاکستان بر سر کشمیر آغاز شد که در جریان شش‌ماه هزاران نفر از دو طرف تلف شدند. در آغاز جنگ، به علت حرکت دیرهنگام نیروها، ارتش پاکستان دچار شکست سنگینی شد، هر چند در ادامه، بزرگ‌ترین عملیات تانک‌های دو طرف به راه افتاد. فرماندهی نیروهای زمینی از طرف جنرال موسی‌خان سبب شد تا پاکستان در این نبرد به پیروزی‌هایی دست یابد و شهرت را برای این جنرال هزاره کمایی کرد. او تا سال 1966 فرماندهی ستاد ارتش پاکستان را برعهده داشت که برخلاف معمول برای دوبار تمدید شد.


After the partition of the subcontinent, General Musa Khan, who was a member of the Indian army, chose Pakistan and joined the army of the newly established Islamic country. In the same year, he took charge of the 103rd Infantry Brigade in the city of Sialkot, Punjab, and led military units in the Kashmir War. A year later, Musa Khan assumed command of the 52nd Infantry Brigade based in Quetta. After the end of the war in 1948, he joined the Military College in the city of Quetta and then continued his military education at the British Royal College of Defense Studies.
In April 1964, the bloody war between India and Pakistan began over Kashmir, and during six months, thousands of people were killed from both sides. At the beginning of the war, due to the late movement of troops, the Pakistani army suffered a heavy defeat, although later, the largest tank operations of both sides were launched. General Musa Khan's command of the ground forces made Pakistan achieve victories in this battle and brought fame to this Hazara general. He was in charge of the Pakistan Army Headquarters until 1966, which was extended twice.
