VW Gearbox oil change

Описание: How I replaced the gearbox oil on my mk 4 golf 2.8 v6 4motion, AUE
VW don't list what grade oil they use, all they can give you is the part number G055512A2 / G052512A2
Also I made a 14mm hex socket to be able to remove the gearbox drain plug and fill plug as I didn't have a hex key large enough. The largest I had in my sets was 10mm, even my largest allen key was still only 10mm. To make the socket I used a bolt and filed it down to 14mm then welded a 17mm nut onto the bolt and then cut off the excess thread. If you have 2 nuts you can lock the 2 nuts together which then you wouldn't need to use a welder.
