                    "Is It Live or Is It Memorex"
That is an iconic advertising phrase from the 70s and 80s aimed to highlight the high fidelity sound of the Memorex brand of cassettes and VHS tapes. 
If you're old enough to remember...you know that the phrase became a popular way to question if something was real or a copy. Real or Fake.
Kind of how current tech like AI-generated media blur the lines between authentic and fabricated content. 
In the 70s, the question was “can tape match the real thing?”. But, today it’s “Can you trust the person on screen is even real?”
I recently had a conversation with sales and marketing consultant Mark Firth who had a great idea I’m going to start implementing. It’s a simple “Human Made - Not AI” watermark for content.
“Not AI” is the modern equivalent of “Live”, a quick promise that what you’re hearing and seeing was actually made by a person.
I think that in a flood of AI content and engagement bots, small human signals will become huge conversion assets.
These human signals like, taking a breath, or looking off screen tell the viewer that they are watching real person. It also develops trust. 
Memorex was selling sound fidelity, and today I think we need to start selling identity fidelity, to prove that there is a human behind the content. 
You need to start using video for your coaching, consulting, and small business marketing. And, you need to start today.
