In this video I will compare the Audio Technica PTG33/II Moving Coil cartridge, The Ortofon 2M Black Moving Magnet Cartridge, and The Shure M97xe Moving Magnet cartridge with the LP Gear Vivid Line Stylus installed.
This comparison is setup for HD Audio with the sound being captured directly to a USB Codec from an Emotiva PT-100 preamplifier. I am using the internal phono preamp only. The song is The Edwin Hawkins Band - Oh Happy Day. The audio has been left totally untouched and only gain matched for exact output so you can more accurately judge for yourself.
