Today, we extend our thanks to Superintendent Adrienne A. Harris as she concludes her service at the Department of Financial Services.
Over the past four years, Superintendent Harris has reshaped New York’s financial services landscape — advancing nation-leading regulations and guidance, empowering and protecting consumers, setting a global standard for regulatory oversight, and modernizing the Department to better serve all New Yorkers. We have delivered real outcomes for New Yorkers, cemented DFS as a preeminent global regulator, and built a more modern, operationally resilient organization.
Her commitment to consumer protection, data-driven policymaking, and market integrity leaves a lasting impact that will guide DFS for years to come. We thank her for her extraordinary leadership and wish her the very best in the next chapter.
