Spend 16 unforgettable minutes with two irresistible baby gorillas—Mobi (9.5 months old) and Gaia (6 months old)—at the breathtaking Prague Zoo in the Czech Republic! 🦍💚 In this heartwarming video, you’ll witness these two young Western Lowland gorillas explore, play, and interact in ways that will melt your heart.
Watch as baby Mobi, the firstborn of 11-year-old Duni, confidently plays with Ajabu, a spirited 8-year-old male born right here at the Prague Zoo. Meanwhile, little Gaia—born to experienced mom Kijivu (31 years old) and sired by silverback Kisumu (27)—is beginning to toddle, suckle on veggies, and bond beautifully with her mother. 🍼💕
One of the most delightful parts of this video is the rare and playful interaction between the baby gorillas and the neighboring Black-and-White Colobus Monkeys. These joyful moments of cross-species curiosity are both fun to watch and educational.
If you love baby animals, mother-infant bonds, and playful zoo interactions, this is the perfect video for you. Whether you're a dedicated gorilla lover, a zoo enthusiast, or simply in need of something adorable, this episode from Larry’s Animal Safari is sure to brighten your day. 🐒🦍✨
The Prague Zoo is one of the most well-known and respected zoological gardens in Europe. In 2015 the Prague Zoo was voted the 4th best zoo in the world by TripAdvisor.com. It was listed along with the San Diego Zoo, Loro Parque in Spain and Singapore Zoo.

______________
-In general, gorillas live 35 years in the wild. In captivity they get better food, medical care and have no predators. Life expectancy can range from 50-60 years.
GORILLA CONSERVATION - one of the easiest things you can do to help gorillas is to recycle your old cell phone or other hand held electronic device. Recycling electronics helps support gorilla conservation programs. Cell phones and other electronics contain a mineral called coltan (it is short for columbite-tantalite). 80% of the world’s Coltan is mined in central Africa, which is wild gorilla habitat. Forests are being strip mined for this highly sought after mineral, with illegal mining even taking place in protected gorilla areas. BUT! Coltan is reusable! Clear out that old cell phone drawer! Our hope is, that the more and more electronic devices are recycled, this can slow demand for new Coltan to be mined in Africa.
Some estimates report gorilla populations have declined 25% in the past 20-25 years.
The Conservation status of the Western Lowland gorilla is “Critically Endangered”.

And support your local zoo, by purchasing a zoo membership. They are great for families and help conservation efforts. The Prague Zoo/Zoo Praha is one of the zoos that is accredited by the WAZA (World Association of Zoos & Aquariums). To earn an WAZA accreditation a zoo must keep their standards high to help ensure proper care and safety for people and animals.
