Didn't Anyone Ever Tell You I Love You, by the Philly Devotions, was originally released on the local Bry-wek label in 1973. The group had the misfortune of always flying under the radar perhaps in part because they sounded so much like other Philly groups of the era and therefore never really distinguished themselves on their own. No matter, their body of work in the 1970's was of consistently high quality and even if they sounded like the Delfonics or the Futures, in my opinion, that's high praise!
