Delhi Hotel Fire: Heroic Rescue Efforts Prevent Bigger Disaster

Описание: A tragic hotel fire in the Hauz Rani area of Malviya Nagar, Delhi has claimed 21 lives, but also revealed extraordinary courage from local residents and police personnel.

According to reports, before emergency services arrived, local traders, residents, and labourers immediately stepped in to help rescue trapped guests from the burning building.

They placed mattresses on the ground to protect people jumping from upper floors and used ladders to assist in evacuations. Many injured victims were quickly transported to hospitals.

Police officers also entered the building without proper safety equipment to assist in rescue operations, with some of them suffering injuries during the effort.
