Mercy That Mirrors God
On this Monday of the Second Week in Lent, the readings move from confession to compassion. Daniel prays for mercy, the psalm trusts in God’s forgiveness, and Jesus calls us to mirror that mercy in our own lives. Lent invites us to receive God’s compassion and allow it to reshape how we judge, forgive, and give.

Reflection: Where is God asking me to replace judgment with mercy in my life during this Lenten season?
Prayer: Lord God, You are rich in mercy and patient in love. As we continue this Lenten journey, soften our hearts and free us from judgment and resentment. Teach us to forgive as we have been forgiven and to give generously as we have received. Shape our lives so that Your compassion may be reflected in our words, choices, and relationships each day. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen
