David Masters works in drawing, painting and found object sculpture, layering color and materials to create reflection on memories and the changes that time imposes on human habitations.
His drawings are inspired by details in his sculpture, highlighting areas of color, line and texture, and he is focusing on gestural lines and movement in his more recent work.
David is originally from Michigan, has spent time in Chicago and Ohio, and now resides in Oregon. We're visiting him today in his studio to see what he's been up to...
