“Pastor, what is your view on the elections that were marked by violence and intimidation?”
As a pastor and concerned citizen, I speak honestly, prayerfully, and responsibly about the pain, fear, and divisions that surrounded the elections. I condemn violence and intimidation in all forms while calling for justice, peace, and national healing.
I also take time to congratulate the Members of Parliament who genuinely won their elections—both from the ruling government side and the opposition. Leadership is not ownership; it is stewardship. Those elected were sent to represent the voices, struggles, and hopes of the people.
To the opposition MPs, I encourage you to stand strong and fearless, knowing that opposition plays a vital role in governance by providing checks, balance, and accountability so that the nation can move forward.
This message is not about party politics.
It is about truth, responsibility, peace, and the future of our nation.
