Meadows of Dan, Patrick County, VA off of the Blue Ridge Parkway Exploring Blacksburg Christiansburg

Описание: In this video, I visit Meadows of Dan for the third time a super dreary day! Meadows of Dan is right off the Blue Ridge Parkway, and it is a gem! If you are at Rock Knob or Mabry Mill, you are so close to this great shopping area. I got a sandwich at the Poor Farmer's Market, and it was so good! There are other places that you can eat and shop! The Concord Corner Store is super friendly with gifts for the whole family. Lovely clothes and shoes to woodwork to quilts to beer to jewelry. You can even play checkers here or sit on their porch and relax. The Poor Farmer's Market has local produce and food including cheese, honey, beans and much more. I did check out Poppy's this time, and they sell Alpaca products from socks to beautiful sweaters to everything in between. It looked like they had classes there, too. There is also a bakery, an Information Center and then the Candy Factory! Yes, I got back in my car and made a right. Nancy's Candy Company provides candy for many, many people! From fudge to chocolates to Jelly Bellies, enjoy the variety of candy for sell with such a helpful staff. You can also get a tour of the factory, too! So, I got back in my car, made a right then a right on 58. I saw a sign for the Lavender Shop. It is not open on Mondays, but I have been there on a prettier day! Everything Lavender is there well as a table set for tea and also checkers! On my way back to Meadows of Dan, I checked out an Antique store with multiple vendors. This is an enchanting place located in Patrick County.
