My Deaf Son Is A Little Cheater!!!🙈
Our son was born profoundly deaf, and traditional hearing aids didn’t help him. After undergoing cochlear implant surgery, his life changed forever. Thanks to one of the best speech and language schools in Texas, he is now learning to speak, listen, and communicate in ways we once thought were impossible.🥹

Today, we tested a huge milestone, seeing if he could spell our names for the very first time! From not being able to hear a single sound, to now recognizing letters, forming words, and building his confidence, this is proof of how powerful early intervention, cochlear implants, speech therapy, and family support can be.

This video is part of our family’s cochlear implant journey, showing the challenges, progress, and incredible achievements of raising a deaf child learning spoken language. We hope this inspires other families on their own journeys with hearing loss, deaf awareness, and cochlear implants.✨

Nuestro hijo nació con sordera profunda, y los audífonos tradicionales no le ayudaron. Después de someterse a una cirugía de implante coclear, su vida cambió para siempre. De no poder escuchar ni un solo sonido, a ahora reconocer letras, formar palabras y ganar confianza, esto demuestra lo poderoso que puede ser la intervención temprana, los implantes cocleares, la terapia del habla y el apoyo familiar.
