Last year I got to fly in a Spitfire LF Mk IX. Specifically MJ772 which was operational during D-Day!

The route:
Flew out from Biggin Hill down to Folkestone, past Capel-le-Ferne, along the Cliffs of Dover and Dover Castle then shot up to the Isle of Sheppey, took a left turn past Canterbury, took another left turn over Leeds Castle and back to Biggin Hill Airport.
