The bar was a tad gnarly around low tide this morning. One small boat picked the wrong time and place to cross and was rolled. Looked like a tender from one of the two yachts anchored out in the bay. He made it to the North Shore with the help of a jet ski rider and later, after getting the outboard going again, headed back upriver. BOM forecast is for south easterly winds 10 to 15 knots turning easterly in the early afternoon. Seas: Around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore during the afternoon. 1st Swell: South to south easterly below 1 metre inshore, increasing to 1 to 2 metres offshore during the morning. 2nd Swell: Easterly around 1 metre.
