Today's full journey Brings you to South London Bus 455.


This buses days are limited & sadly yet another bus being withdrawn from London Streets after almost 28 years in service it will get withdrawn on the 2nd March 2024 & being replaced by 3 buses 166,312 & S4 which is quite shocking but I am not sure if its necessary change or if it will help despite saving cost.


Really & truly this bus is like squiggly routing where it goes up & down doing crazy just to reach Purley which bus 127 is probably the alternative route for quicker routing but this is very useful but also very busy especially around Therapia Lane where there's massive shopping centre around the corner but a very needed bus around BEDDINGTON.


Very amazed with the selection & varieties of buses it has under Croydon GO ahead bus garage and very lucky to have ridden a (SOE) optare esteem knowing it will most likely be gone by the end of the year, they have very deep engine noise but they very much sound like the old enviro 200s but they have incredibly loud revvs.Overall not a bad ride definitely recommend checking this bus before it gets withdrawn & rate the bus 8/10 nice variety of buses & BEDDINGTON bus garages along the way.
