The AE86 gets the carbon fiber combo!: Jblood Levin AE86 hood and trunk!
The hood installation requires panel gapping between the front fenders. Hardware for mounting the bonnet to the hood hinges are included. As for the rear trunk, the bolts to the oem swing arms on the coupe; key cylinder and release cable must be transferred from the OEM unit for proper fastening. Quick Latch hood pins were installed, during which the holes were bored out with a step drill bit on top and a circular hole saw bit on the underside. Lastly, a 10" safety wire was mounted with an M6 bolt to the OEM hood striker location and clipped to the hood latch.
