That's one of the easiest Priest songs, perfect for intermediate guitarists like myself and perfect for practicing your minor pentatonic scale and a little bit of Aeolian mode .
I never use tabs, I learn the songs only by ear and as a consequence, some parts of the solo, are different than the original. The reason I 'm doing this, is because :
a. Tabs some times are incorrect.
b. This way I train my ears to listen carefully.
c. It's easier for me and much faster.
I used a backing track found on Youtube and the guitar sound comes from my amp. I didn't use any professional equipment and the video was recorded through my phone camera.
My setup is:
Harley Benton Fusion III HH FR
Boss SD-1 (Super Overdrive) as a boost
Harley Benton Plexicon as my main Overdrive
Behringer UC200 (Ultra Chorus)
Marshall MG15DFX Clean Channel
The purpose of this video is to prove that you can get a descent guitar tone in the mix by using less expensive but high quality equipment. Also, please keep in mind that English are not my primary language, so excuse my grammar mistakes, if any.
